🎃 Top 10 Films for Halloween! 👻

31st October. Halloween. A day filled with frights and treats. From carving a pumpkin, to trick or treating, to hiding behind a cushion whilst watching a classic horror film.
So what will you be doing?
Here I will share with you my TOP 5 FILMS FOR HALLOWEEN. To help you choose the perfect flick to scare you senseless on the night of Halloween. These aren't in any particular order.
So here we go!

#1
Has to be the obvious choice which is John Carpenters "HALLOWEEN".
There are 9 different films of Halloween, the first one being released in 1978 and the most recent being released in 2007. However it depends on your preference of date, if you prefer old, classic films or updated, brand new films!
Obviously the quality of visual effects is alot better in the 2007 version, as there is more advanced technology and so on. But everyone loves a classic, "tomato ketchup blood" flick!
However, the film is based upon a serial killer, famously known as Michael Myers! As the mental serial killer causes frights and keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout each film! Just a classic, original horror film, from a classic horror film director.

The next film I would recommend would have to be "FRIDAY 13TH".
Now I know what your thinking. "Your supposed to watch this on Friday 13th". However, I personally think that this a great film to stick on, on Halloween night.
Again, there are 9 different films of Friday 13th, the earliest being released in 1980, to the most recent being released in 2009.
Again, as I explained previously, the visual quality of the films will be different, regarding when they were released. But it completely depends on your own personal preference.
Most of the films are based around Jason Vorhees. The 2009 version being based upon a group of teens, who camp in an abandoned summercamp, to be distrupted by the presense of Jason.

This next film I would recommend would have to be "JEEPERS CREEPERS".
This film is a classic, thrilling, terrifying film! Which will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat or keep you hiding behind your pillow!
This film is a triliogy. (Consisiting of 3 films) But in this case, I would most definitely recommend the first film! Its a classic, and definitely beats the rest. I'm not saying you shouldn't watch the other two, but personally I would definitely go for the first!
It was released in 2001 and the visual quality of the film is exeptionaly good, given the date it was filmed and the quality of film technology then.
It is based upon a brother and sister driving home from spring break, to then encounter a flesh-eating creature in the isolated countryside that is on the last day of its ritualistic eating spree.

Next, I would recommend "SAW".
A well known film to many! I wouldn't say this is particularly scary, just more gory! So if you prefer more of a gory horror (That sounds weird, but people may prefer different types of horror) then this is the film for you!
There are 7 different Saw films, however the difference with these films is that they are all linked. So basically you have to watch them all in order, to grasp the whole story line. So if you haven't seen any of the Saw films, but fancy watching one for Halloween, then I do highly suggest you watch the first one. Because if you watch the 4th film, without watching any of the previous films you just won't understand the whole story line and you will just be lost.
The first one being released in 2004 and the last and most recent one being released in 2010. (WHICH IS ALSO IN 3D)
However the basis of the film is based upon a serial killer nicknamed "Jigsaw" who puts people who abuse life in deadly traps. Which then gives them the chance to choose between life and death. There is many different story lines in each film, but I would be here forever explaining them all! Haha!
A classic, popular, gory horror! Directed by the amazing James Wan! (Director of Insidious and The Conjuring!)

And finally, I recommend the film "SCREAM"
A popular and classic slasher film and franchise! There are 4 films, the first one being released in 1996 and the most recent being released in 2011.
In my personal opinion, I prefer the first SCREAM, as its the original, and "nothing beats the original"! Haha.
They all have a similar storyline, this being a serial killer named Ghost Face, terrorsing the local town! However the basis of the first film is about the killer known as Ghostface, as he begins killing off teenagers. Then one girl, who is called Sydney and her friends find themselves contemplating the "Rules" of horror films as they find themselves living in a real-life one.
A popular, classic slasher movie. Filled with shocks and thrils, and will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout. A definite favourite for a Halloween flick!

LAUGHS...

SCARY MOVIE 5!

Released April 12th 2013

Starring: Ashley Tisdale, Simon Rex, Erica Ash, Charlie Sheen

Happily-married couple Dan and Jody begin to notice some bizarre, and un-usual activity once they bring their lost nieces and nephew home. But when the chaos expands into Jody's job as a ballet dancer and Dan's career as an Ape researcher, they realize their family is being stalked by a nefarious demon. Together, with the advice of a psychic and the aid of numerous surveillance cameras, they must figure out how to get rid of it before it's too late.

Well, the title just says it all! SCARY MOVIE has returned and with a bang, because this film is great! I have to be honest, I was not all that keen on seeing this movie. As I had seen the other ones, and never found them that funny, possibly because the humour didn't suit my age, or the films were quite out-dated. However! I decided to take a leap of faith, and go to watch this film. And it was the best thing I ever did! It was so so funny from beginning through to the end. And I was literally crying and screaming with laughter in the middle of a busy cinema. Yeah. Not cool.

It contains quite recent films such as Mama, Cabin in the Woods, Paranormal Activity, Evil Dead and even a reference to 50 Shades of Grey!

I do seriously think I found this film more enjoyable because the humour is more relatable to my age, and the age we live in really. And some parts of the film are so cleverly done, because you sit there and laugh along with it, whilst thinking "OMG! I thought that when I watched it" if you know what i'm blabbering on about!

My favourite scene would have to be the pool cleaner scene. Sounds weird. But basically, they take the mick out of the pool cleaner in the Paranormal Activity 2 film, when the ghost "spookily" lifts the pool cleaner out of the pool.

But in this film, they have a whole group of pool cleaners having some random party, getting drunk, sniffing washing powder, and then a whole bunch of hoovers come in! But you just immediately relate because you just think how stupid and not scary it was in the real film. But I was laughing my head off, I was literally crying with laughter as soon as the scene kicked in! I will try and find it and put it in this blog...but oh my...that was a cinema experience to remember! I know it may not sound funny now, but trust me, its hilarious when you watch it!

I also have to add that Ashley Tisdale was suprisingly good in this film! From her being know for High School Musical and Suite Life of Zac and Cody, you kind of think "ooo i'm not sure if she will suit this film or not". But she was actually really funny, and made the film funny really. She just comes across as so naturally funny, and bizzare, and she was just great in it. So big thumbs up for Ashley Tisdale!

They also had Charlie Sheen in it, who's been in a few of the previous films, along with Lindsey Lohan. And to be perfectly honest, that just bored me, they both just irritate me so much! But besides that the rest of the film was brilliant!

Yeah. So I would highly recommend this film, to absolutely everyone! It's such a funny, feel-good, amazing film!

Just to put it out there, I personally think you have to watch the whole film to find this clip funny and you have had to have watched Paranormal Activity 3 but hey you might find it funny!

Anyway enjoy and please leave me any feedback!
