Movie News and Gossip.

Disney to remake Indiana Jones with no Harrison Ford?
So I thought I'd change it up abit and discuss some current film news thats circling the web at the moment. Now this is only rumoured but the upcoming star Chris Pratt could well be the next Indiana Jones.

The man who many compared to Hans Solo in Guardians Of The Galaxy and, from what we’ve seen of the film so far, invokes some thoughts of Doctor Henry Jones Jr. in Jurassic World, is apparently Disneys choice to fulfill Harrison Ford iconic role. Disney bought the rights to make and distribute any new Indiana Jones adventure from Paramount shortly after it closed the big Lucasfilm deal in 2013.

There were rumours that Harrison Ford may return for the new instalment of the franchise. However while it’s very, very early days for the idea, and there's no news on whether Indiana Jones overlords Steven Spielberg and George Lucas would be involved this time, Disney is reportedly looking for a new Indiana, and Chris Pratt certainly seems to suit the role given what we have seen of him in recent cinema. Christ Pratt will certainly have a busy schedule as he’ll be out and about promoting Jurassic World this summer, he is also getting ready to shoot the Magnificent Seven remake with Denzel Washington and director Antoine Fuqua and is committed to return as Peter Quill for the next Guardians Of The Galaxy, already scheduled for an April 28, 2017 release.

Now, some audiences think Harrison Ford could never be replaced, and I have to be one to say it will be odd to watch an Indy movie with no Harrison Ford as I grew up with all the films, but if Harrison Ford was going to be replaced by anyone, Chris Pratt seems like our best bet. Lets just hope he learns how to crack that whip like Ford did for many years. But what do you think? Could you watch a brand spanking new Indiana Jones?

Emma Watson to be our "Belle" in Beauty and the Beast adaptation.
Disney are certainly pulling it out of the bag at the moment, as they seem to be turning its cartoon franchise into live action films, and it has been announced that Beauty And The Beast joins the likes of Maleficent, Cinderella and The Jungle Book on the list of reimagined fantasies. Bill Condon will be directing Beauty and the Beast.
Emma Watson herself comfirmed rumours that she will be playing Belle in the new adaptation on Facebook: “I’m finally able to tell you... that I will be playing Belle in Disney’s new live-action Beauty And The Beast! It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I’ll get to dance to ‘Be Our Guest’ and sing ‘Something There’. My six-year-old self is on the ceiling — heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can’t wait for you to see it.”
I love, love, love Emma Watson, and I'm sure she will deliver a stunning performance as one of Disney's princesses, along with a beautiful and magical film which will bring all our childhood to life.

Who you gonna' call? GHOSTBUSTERS!
Ghostbusters is due an updated reboot and we are more than excited. Well I am, I loved all the original Ghostusters movie! Paul Feig who will be directing the film has found actors from Bridesmaids and Saturday Night Live to start building his Ghostbusters cast. So it is now announced that our new female Ghostbusters will consist of Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. And WOW, I am excited to see these ladies in action kicking some ghost butts!

Paul Feig told Entertainment Weekly last year: "Ghostbusters is such a great thing and everybody knows it, It's a shame to just let this thing sit there. My favourite thing to do is work with funny women. I was like, what if it was an all female cast? That would be really fun." And he is certainly right, I think this can really work, especially with who he has chosen to star in the reboot and it will do extremely well in the box office.
Paul Feig and "Heat" writer Dippold have been busy working on the script for the new take on Ghostbusters, which features an all-female team, which is absolutely brilliant! Girl Power! And is said to be starting filming this summer in New York. However there is uncertainty that we may or may not see cameos from classic busters Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson. I highlt doubt Bill Murray will show up, because it Bill Murray but we could be suprised. Paul Feig announcedb that Ghostbusters will hit screens on July 22, 2016.

What are your thoughts on these stories? Will Chris Pratt be a good Indiana Jones? Whats your thoughts on live action remakes of fairytales? And are you as excited for the Ghostbusters reboot as much as I am?
Thankyou very much for reading! :-)
